Neil Godin

- The Turnaround Guy

Based in Vancouver, Canada, Neil Godin (Also known as The Turnaround Guy) is author of "Selling in the (Comfort) Zone" (available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble and other outlets), and publisher of "Marketing Dangerously," the idea-a-day email/blog service. Neil is one of North America's leading business trainers, speakers and writers. As a speaker and workshop leader, he has presented to more than 300,000 business people from coast to coast in Canada and the United States. He is unique in that he works with both sides of the business building equation: Business development (sales, service and marketing), and "people development" (speaking and training on personal leadership; formal leadership; team building; recruiting and retaining talented people, and conflict resolution).

While he specializes in turnaround marketing work with companies in crisis (where sales always have to be doubled or tripled - immediately, and at minimal cost), most of Neil's consulting and training clients are healthy companies looking for accelerated growth. He has worked with many Fortune-500 level clients including Ford, Shell, McDonalds, Telus, KPMG, Dun & Bradstreet, Subway, Intrawest/ Intracorp, and The Royal Bank - as well as hundreds of smaller businesses of all sizes and kinds.

Neil has also spoken to and worked with a number of franchise organizations, including Budget Brake and Muffler, Mr. Lube, Signs Now, ReMax, Best Western Hotels, McDonalds, Subway, NAPA Auto Parts, Atlas Van Lines, Robins Donuts, Mr. Lube, Windsor Plywood, Weed Man, Ricky's, and many others.
